If thats the case, Bheeshma and Dritharashtra/pandu are also not blood releated. sage Vyasa was father of dritharastra and pandu raju...

He was the first born of the first born  (Dhritarashtra). Though Dritarashtra was not been allowed to become the king initially because of his physical limitations, but that should not prevent his son from his rights.

Gandhari was conceived before Kunti. Though she delivered later to Kunti.

The Pandavas were not sons of King Pandu, so Yudhishthira was not the eldest kuru prince. [NOTE : Some people say that then Dritarashtra and Pandu were also not Kuru, which is wrong because they were born through Niyog which was legal. But Niyog can be performed only when there is no heir to the throne and when the husband is not alive.]

For me 5 most powerful charecters and their deaths was a fascinating topic since childhood. 

Those 5 charecters are
