patha employer always can file 485 without your friend joining in that company..   Try perm with current employer if not go back to one of the previous employer.

I am in the same situation PD Nov 2012 EB2, patha employer tho 140 approval vundhi ... kotha employer emo inka start cheyyaledu

patha employer ni adigithe, forget about EB2 to EB3 downgrade. we can't do 485 for those who are not on companies W2 antunnadu

2 options itchaadu....

1. you try to move to my company and wait for you PD dates becomes current

2. Get the GC process start from new employer in EB3
