హర్యానా మంత్రికి కరోనాపై స్పందించిన భారత్ బయోటెక్

 

న్యూఢిల్లీ: మూడో దశ ట్రయల్స్‌లో భాగంగా రెండు వారాల క్రితం ‘కొవాగ్జిన్’ టీకా షాట్ తీసుకున్న హర్యానా హోం మంత్రి అనిల్ విజ్‌కు కరోనా సోకడంపై భారత్ బయోటెక్ స్పందించింది. రెండో డోస్ తీసుకున్న 14 రోజుల తర్వాత మాత్రమే టీకా సామర్థ్యాన్ని నిర్ణయించగలమని పేర్కొంది. కొవాగ్జిన్ క్లినికల్ ట్రయల్స్ 28 రోజుల వ్యవధిలో రెండు డోసు షెడ్యూళ్ల ఆధారంగా ఉంటాయని తెలిపింది. రెండు డోసులు తీసుకున్న తర్వాత మాత్రమే దాని సమర్థత బయటపడుతుందని పేర్కొంది.

కాగా, ఈ ఉదయం మంత్రి అనిల్ విజ్ తనకు కరోనా సోకినట్టు ట్వీట్ చేశారు. ఇటీవల తనను కలిసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరు కరోనా పరీక్షలు చేయించుకోవాలని సూచించారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఆయన అంబాలాలోని సివిల్ ఆసుపత్రిలో చేరి చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు. కొవాగ్జిన్ మూడో దశ పరీక్షలు రెండు రకాలుగా ఉంటాయి. 50శాతం మందికి వ్యాక్సిన్ ఇవ్వగా, మిగతా 50 శాతం మందికి ప్లాసెబో అనే ద్రావణాన్ని ఇస్తారు. మంత్రికి ప్లాసిబో మాత్రమే ఇచ్చి ఉంటారని, కాబట్టి వైరస్ సోకడంలో వింతేమీ లేదంటున్నారు. రెండో డోస్ కూడా ఇచ్చిన తర్వాత మాత్రమే వ్యాక్సిన్‌ సామర్థ్యం నిర్ధారణ అవుతుందని చెబుతున్నారు.

 

భారత బయోటెక్ అమెరికా, యూకేలోనూ ‘కొవాగ్జిన్’ కు క్లినికల్ ట్రయల్స్ నిర్వహిస్తోంది. తాము గత 20 ఏళ్లలో 18 దేశాల్లో 80 క్లినికల్ ట్రయల్స్ నిర్వహించినట్టు భారత్ బయోటెక్ తెలిపింది. 80కిపైగా దేశాలకు 4 బిలియన్‌కు పైగా డోసులు సరఫరా చేసినట్టు పేర్కొంది. భద్రత విషయంలో తమకు గొప్ప ట్రాక్ రికార్డు ఉందని స్పష్టం చేసింది. కొవాగ్జిన్‌కు భారత్‌లో నిర్వహిస్తున్న మూడో దశ ట్రయల్స్ సామర్థ్యానికి సంబంధించినది మాత్రమే. దేశ జనాభాకు ఇది ఎలా సరిపోతుందనే విషయాన్ని నిర్ధారించుకునేందుకే ఈ ట్రయల్స్ జరుగుతున్నాయి.

I don’t think so even pfizer or mRNA is a 2 dose vaccine but gap is definitely not 28 days

Y are medical workers stressed out (nenu idhi news chusi adagatledu, i have a close friend of mine who is a medico in US urging not to meet n greet during holiday season bcos they are stressed out)

y is it that almost every family experienced personal tragedy due to loss of their relative ? 

Global researchers, medical workers antha vedhavala who are inefficient to prove this is just a flu ani ???

It’s a two-shot vaccine, so what happens if people miss their second shot? Is a single shot still protective?
Two shots are needed, and the second shot is required to attain immunity. The gap between doses in the trial ranged between 19 and 42 days. Only 2 per cent of people in the trial missed their second dose so it isn’t entirely clear what happens under those circumstances.
