I know most people hide it because it is treated as a leprosy. People are ill informed after watching all the news on TV. It's shocking that the first family/person to let everyone know that they are positive are blamed and everyone says they got covid from them. No one understands that this infection has different gestation period and one may show symptoms earlier even if he is the last person to be infected. Also the temperature check is absolutely useless in finding out if the person is having covid. Everyone has different symptoms and different things show up in the same infected group.

If you are extremely worried about contracting covid, then please stay indoors and maintain a strict bubble. It's unwise to assume that you won't get covid because you have been visiting all the places as usual all these months and you have not contracted covid so far.

P.S. Personal experience
