I have completed my biometric today, I was hoping case will be updated tomorrow like others saying “Finger print taken “ but today I saw “Request for initial Evidence “ for 485 applications for both  (myself & Dependent)

Any help what could be for RFIE ???

Oh that means yours is coming back bro you will get denial notice only on premium part of it, you might have to re apply again 30 days (your fee will be returned only waiting part

Meanwhile many of my friends who applied in 2012 and whose final action dates became current months back are still waiting for any updates.

this status is from my todays slack , she is ROW , my old company lo 2 freinds git 485 approved (Only card is pending) 

My I-485 status has been updated today to 'New card is being processed'. However my EAD Status still says fingerprints received.  Does this sound like its skipping a step and going straight to the GC?  Could this actually be it?

things are moving at least RFE and GC with MSC center
