Usually that's a blackbox and luck. If you change employer 485j will help trigger some movement but if you continue with same employer then you have to wait and hope USCIS will do it.

VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

Worldwide dates:

F1:   No movement expected
F2A: Current
F2B: No movement expected
F3:   No movement expected
F4:   No movement expected

EMPLOYMENT-based categories (potential monthly movement)

Employment First:

Worldwide: Current
China:         Current
India:          Current

Employment Second:

Worldwide: Current
China:         Up to several months
India:          Up to several months

Employment Third:

Worldwide:  A final action date could be imposed as early as November
China:          A retrogression of this date could occur as early as November
India:           A retrogression of this date could occur as early as November
Mexico:       A final action date could be imposed as early as November
Philippines: A final action date could be imposed as early as November

Employment Fourth:  Current for most countries

El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras:  Limited, if any, movement expected
Mexico:  Limited, if any, movement expected

Employment Fifth:  Current for most countries

China: No forward movement

The above final action date projections for the Family and Employment categories indicate what is likely to happen on a monthly basis through January.  The determination of the actual monthly final action dates is subject to fluctuations in applicant demand and several other variables impacting processing.

Anna nee backlog community service ki claps claps.. even after GC..

Possibly true to some extent but you remember any time people talking about risk of using EAD while AOS pending? I will tell you one scenario happened to my friend.

They received EAD in Jun and GC in Aug and found out a typo on last name on GC card while EAD had correct name. From that point, it is your responsibility to get the corrections done and USCIS gave wait time of 8 months. When something like this happens you cannot use your GC. In their case luckily they have EAD with 2 year validity. But in some cases where you get GC directly without EAD and/or cases like you are on EAD for several years and gave up on H1-B and completely rely on EAD these typographical errors will play vital role. While these issues may not happen to everyone but it can certainly screw up things badly.
