I do use for Day trading and very useful ... It gives you an edge over other traders by predicting the next movement in stocks. It has been in a downturn since last nov. Its typically a range bound stock. Results seem to be bad. I did not read the financials yet. Again Inflation effect I think. High prices everywhere and Coffee can be skipped or made at home. We have to look at their foot traffic numbers. Are customers coming back to stores, etc. It will stay range bound. A good long term pick up. But it will go bit more lower. 70 1

This way you will always have cash to buy other stocks. 100% cash investment is risky. You cannot add more at lower levels. Nenu ammali antay pedda thathangam undhi le .. Put some targets and if met, sell them. But dont regret after selling. But overall its a proven fact that people who keep the stocks for long term will make the most money.

I would consider it a big win if it gets to 40, taking into account the yield. I got out of Kimberly Clark(KMB), no gain no loss, but the dividends for the last few years softened the blow. 1

Few similar holdings of mine as below: HDV 3-4% yield + 17% price appreciation JEPI 7-8% yield + 12% price appreciation MO 8-9% yield + 11% price appreciation SCHD 3-4% yield + 7% price appreciation I will still be booking losses for the next few years because of few bad picks in terms of individual stocks from covid time.

I am working on a new project called - Dividend capture. Basically the idea is to buy the stock close to the closing bell on the day before ex-dividend date. Sell it on the ex-dividend date with the idea to recover the capital and get dividend paid later. Move capital to another stock. Rinse and repeat. Tough part is to look at the history of stocks that recover well.
