bramhacharimogudu
What a sham the FED and it's Member Banks are. I never knew the FED pay member banks a 6% dividend, tax-free! Why don't we learn this stuff in high school!!! newrepublic.com/article/116... "The subsidy comes in the form of a 6 percent dividend, paid on stock that over 2,900 banks purchase to participate in the Federal Reserve system. And the Fed has been doing this for the last 100 years. It’s one of the many unknown ways the Fed extends special benefits to Wall Street." "But if the 6 percent dividend on capital stock isn’t the Fed’s largest gift, it may be the most brazen—a risk-free entitlement program that has operated in obscurity for 100 years. Most member banks don’t even have to pay corporate taxes on the dividends, unlike most Americans who pay anywhere from 15-20 percent in dividend taxes." Chakram12
@Spartan @Vaampire @sri_india I thought I can only show $3000 losses max regardless my capitol gains. But article says differently Capital losses can offset capital gains As anyone with much investment experience can tell you, things don't always go up in value. They go down, too. If you sell something for less than its basis, you have a capital loss. Capital losses from investments—but not from the sale of personal property—can be used to offset capital gains. If you have $50,000 in long-term gains from the sale of one stock, but $20,000 in long-term losses from the sale of another, then you may only be taxed on $30,000 worth of long-term capital gains. $50,000 - $20,000 = $30,000 long-term capital gains If capital losses exceed capital gains, you may be able to use the loss to offset up to $3,000 of other income. If you have more than $3,000 in excess capital losses, the amount over $3,000 can be carried forward to future years to offset capital gains or income in those years. https://apple.news/AN_jxrXc6RNip-0KzzB6-wg
