volatility  halts are automated … if you have level 2 like below ... you will see the halt level ....

if stocks move more than 10% in 5 min period ... stocks halts automatically 

for eg:- if GME go down to 120.18 or up 146.88 in 5 mins .. it will get halt automatically 

 

9:30 - 9:45 - Threshold is double , stock should move 20% in 5 min period to get halt

this is true for regular circuit breakers.. however, this was not the case with GME during rise.. moreover, monitor the volumes during this time..  this is what is being challenged..
