Train journeys are best. I used to travel long distance trains..that go for 26 hours..AP express..tamil nadu express..kerala express..from Hyderabad to hazrath nizabackn..travelled many times...kerala express too from Vijayawada...

 

No frequent flights those days ..and tickets used to be business class rates

When I was little kid like 4 years old ..I used to do train watching in railway station..so GT used to be my favourite train spotting as kidi used to fantasize GT with a full transparent coach

Yes still GT is running as compared to Tamil Nadu GT has more stops but still has very good speed.. Watching trains was fun, railway station ki poyi relatives ki send off or receive chesukovadam oka saradha

My mama used to have home next to station...I used to go with my cousins and grand pa everyday to station for fun..no platform ticket counter in that station too

Himsagar used to longest distance train mundhu now Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express & Thiruvanathpuram-Silchar Aronai Express have moved past it.
