When India became independent in 1947, There was NO Andhra Pradesh. It wasn’t existent. In fact none of the modern states were existent. 500+ princely states..some joined and some annexed. India itself was not existent, Andhra was not existent...I have no idea how to explain to you. Hyderabad was not existent, so are the parts of Maharastra, Karnataka, Half of Gujarat,Goa, Sikkim, Kashmir were also not part of British India. State of Hyderabad was an independent state and British protectorate and Present day Andhra was part of Madras Presidency.. Did you understand ?
