దేశంలో ఓ వైపు కరోనా మహమ్మారి, మరోవైపు నిరుద్యోగ భూతం విలయతాండవం చేస్తున్న వేళ ప్రధాని నరేంద్రమోదీపై నెటిజన్లు మండిపడుతున్నారు. కరోనాను అదుపు చేయడంలో మోదీ దారుణంగా విఫలమయ్యారని, ఇందుకు నైతిక బాధ్యత వహిస్తూ తన పదవికి రాజీనామా చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. సోషల్ మీడియాలో విపరీతమైన ఆదరణ కలిగిన మోదీకి ట్విట్టర్‌లో ఈ స్థాయిలో నిరసన సెగ తగలడం ఇదే తొలిసారి.

గతేడాది ఆగస్టులోనూ మోదీపై సోషల్ మీడియా మండిపడింది. ఆయన ‘మన్ కీ బాత్’ కార్యక్రమంలో జేఈఈ, నీట్ గురించి మాట్లాకపోవడంపై సోషల్ మీడియా విరుచుకుపడింది. ఆయన ప్రసంగ వీడియోకు డిస్‌లైక్‌లతో తమ నిరసన తెలిపారు. ఆ వీడియోకు 74వేల లైక్‌లు వస్తే ఏకంగా 5 లక్షల మంది డిస్‌లైక్ చేశారు. తాజాగా #ResignModi ట్విట్టర్‌లో ట్రెండింగ్‌లో ఉంది.

తాజాగా, ఉద్యోగాలు కావాలంటూ నెటిజన్ల నుంచి పెద్ద ఎత్తున డిమాండ్ వినిపిస్తోంది. ‘మోదీ రోజ్‌గార్ దో’, ‘మోదీ ఉద్యోగమివ్వు’ వంటి ట్వీట్లు చేస్తున్నారు. ఫిబ్రవరి మొదటి వారంలో ఒక్క రోజులోనే ఇలాంటి ట్వీట్లు ఏకంగా 50 లక్షలు రావడం గమనార్హం. ఏడాదికి రెండు కోట్ల ఉద్యోగాలు ఇస్తానంటూ ఇచ్చిన హామీ ఏమైందని గొంతెత్తుతున్నారు.

అలాగే, కొవిడ్‌పై ప్రభుత్వ తీరును నిరసిస్తూ ట్విట్టర్‌ను హోరెత్తిస్తున్నారు. మోదీకి ఎన్నికలపై ఉన్న శ్రద్ధ ప్రజారోగ్యంపై లేదంటూ దుమ్మెత్తిపోస్తున్నారు. ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్, బీహార్ రాష్ట్రాల్లో కరోనా మృతదేహాలను రహస్యంగా కాల్చివేస్తున్నారన్న ఆరోపణల నేపథ్యంలో ఈ విషయాన్ని ప్రస్తావిస్తూ దాదాపు మూడు లక్షల ట్వీట్లు రావడం గమనార్హం. మరోవైపు, దేశంలో కరోనా పెరుగుదలకు మోదీనే కారణమని ఆరోపిస్తూ పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి మమతా బెనర్జీ, ఆర్జేడీ నేత తేజ్‌ప్రతాప్ యాదవ్ సహా మరికొందరు నేతలు రాజీనామాకు డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు.

can he make sure states have enough Oxygen supply?

can he implement night curfew?

can he close cinema halls ?

can he give orders to not conduct public meetings with 25+ people ?

can he instruct to do containment zones?

can he follow the suggestions of high courts?
