jambalhaatraja Posted May 6, 2021 Author Report Posted May 6, 2021 If you are targeting regular engineering roles you have to be like kickass in programming If company isnt as big as FAANG they usually wont build really huge systems and just want programmers. like example grubhub , pinterest , 10-15 years start ups . They usually have 2-3 services serving to a set of customers. On a side note salesforce , FAANG etc already have good programming practices. They need ppl with really scalable and design experience . Like hosting a service in 100+ countries for example. so expert level SD is a must in these roles. Coming to ML. Sky is the limit. Focus on the use cases you like and take it from there. Quote
