nenu annadi if you are doing some ok job , highly unlikely you can hit F and N in the first shot. I meant staff/senior staff and above roles. Not the engineer 2/3 kind of stuff

So I meant target for a one-two level below FAANG, be in that actual development/engineer space for an year or so , get real experience and then aim for your dream company

Netflix has only 2 roles. Sr soft engineer. Manager.

Fb lo staff/senior staff and above roles clear cheyyali antey u should be rock star. Very very tough. Daani kantey senior software engineer (E5) gaa join ayyi kastapadithey 2 years lo staff avochu

no body cares your skill set bro . You just have to be an expert in building API's,writing code and queries on the fly in coderpads

All these companies have their own skills and will train you once you join

Yeah so basically unless you are a software developer or a data scientist hard to get into these roles. Mostly also since they use their own automated code pipelines etc. unlike the not so tech companies which use external tools.

Am I right?

Yes . Let me tell simple example. These top tech never rely on third party vendors or cloud providers for example. They build from scratch like all the SD components. manam endi we either work on some one else product or rely on cloud

As you are on devops , you might have worked on jenkins ansible docker k8s etc. Assume your company dont want to use those and build a solution in house. Think in those lines. So bayata manaki enta vacchina its just surface level knowledge which is true infact.
