Sputnik was released way back in August, Dr.Reddy's made a pact with RDIF in September 2020. Trails started immediately and Government could have fast tracked the trails and production, they could have conducted trails along with SII and BB, by the time second wave struck, there would have been three vaccines in the market and increasing the capacity would have just come in handy.

If we had three working vaccines cleared for emergency use in Feb itself, by May 2021, Situation could not have much better but deaths could have avoided by at least 10-20%.

The world's largest vaccine market and yet we don't have enough suppliers.

It's a complete sham man , why was covaxin approved without completing trials but the trials for Sputnik was completely delayed even though it was proven ? 

India Would have had atleast 10-20 crore vaccine doses if same provisions for bhrat biotech  was given to other manufacturers

This is BJP's biggest problem , they will never admit any wrongdoing , no one will be held accountable . Health minister should be  sacked asap for complete failure

its obvious govt will be pulled up on it when parliament resumes. Indian parliamentarians are not dumbfcuks (outside of BJP, ofcourse)

but right now for public attention, they go with soundbytes that are easy to digest.

Ofcourse that's also terrible too . Is there a single functioning country where individual states fight each other for vaccine supply?

like I pointed out before.. Just in the month of May (even discounting today), China vaccinated 400m doses approx

India did 75-80m I guess.

and just until 3 months back, India was the largest provider of vaccines to the world. lol

I was really expecting to sack some people in the administration, like we always did. 

Its surprising that none have been sacked yet. I'm expecting a judicial committee to look into lapses, or at least an empowered GOM to look into things that went wrong but nothing of such sort seems to be happening. However, truth will never see the light of the day by such committees but at least there will be few people to sack at least. Someone has to be made sacrificial lambs. At least 1000 people needs to be sacked, starting from Union health minister, health secretary to state health ministers. 

Asale desi gallaki short term memory, people will forget what happened in the last few months soon, before they do so, gotto have some serious action. Lekapothey ie lazyness valla chala dhebba tintunnam. China ki India ki ide teda..lapses at every level and lag at every stage..

ivala SII is producing maximum vaccines for India, export commitment lekapothe ie vaccine ae lekapotunde..it was part of contractual agreement which wasn’t fulfilled either..FYI, Covishield is being made under the license from Astra Zeneca UK.
