The funny thing is, Pakistan is the only country in our region to give citizenship by birth. India used to have it, until Rajiv Gandhi put conditions on citizenship of parents by 1987, and today it has come to CAA.

Even most European countries don't give citizenship by birth.

Saudi is not the only country in the region. Its not a democracy. Islamic democracies around the world lo citizenship ivvaru ani neeku evaru chepparu? Malaysia, indonesia lo ivvara? Turkey citizenship ivvaledha Syrians, lebanon christians ki?

Anyway, India isthundha citizenship other religion vaallaki? Forget other religion, Tamil refugees ki, vaallaki TamilNadu lo puttina pillala kay intha varaku ivvaley.. CAA ani cheppi edho pak refugees ki koncham mushti esaru around a couple thousand citizenships.

muslims minorities they make some noise, because most refugees from these countries are not from upper class of their society like it is for Indians (Hindus), and are constantly targeted by police.  plus it looks like Hindus show their power only when they have a weak opponent, and sit quietly with tails btwn their legs against white people and their govts. atleast muslims have some rosham. good for them for fighting for their rights.

can you go to tirunelveli and claim that its yours? Its long process of acclimatising yourself to locals and build relations. So India is not yours, or mine.  India just has a constitution that allows you to travel and make your home anywhere you want. thats all.

muslim refugees also try to do the same. when they are denied the chance, they fight for their right to do it. intha simple stuff artham kaaka pothey etla? you work in some plush office, and are rich enough to look down on people who you won't even talk with, before calling them as protestors.

cheppina kadha.. Turkey is open to refugees, and has even naturalized many 100s of thousands irrespective of religion. Saudi has also accepted more syrian refugees than all Europe put together. they won't give them citizenships, but they have provided temporary shelter.

This modern secular immigration into the west is a recent occurrence. hardly 50yrs old. 1950s America was not inviting people of all religions into America, and so was not Europe.

UAE ani cheppaku. They are not democracies. Malaysia has investment visa that leadsd to citizenship. does india have one?
