I have never gifted any thing for my wife on her birthday or our marriage day

This will be our 10th anniversary, I am thinking of sending cake at her work place and buy a gift.

I will be out of state on her birthday so want to send some gift to her work place.

can you guys suggest something that can be surprising and how to send cake to the work places

this will be in NC

hows she planning to celebrate the anniversary.

u think ur wife too is planning to buy something for u?

none of u r willing to take day off , does this scream something ? if so, u buying a surprise gift would compensate?

sending cake to her at work place only to embarrass her in front of her coworkers that u both chose to work and stay away? cut the anniversaey cake with whom? with coworkers? stay away from this stupid idea of sending surprise anniversary cake to workplace.

There are two events

one is birthday when I am not available , then  anniversary when I am available and my daughter birthday when I am available

So I am planning for 3 events

unfortunately we don’t work IT jobs

Don’t you have an option to work remotely for a couple of days?? I understand it may not be possible for every job..

anyone here has tried planning a surprise weekend getaway for their spouse recently? I’ve been thinking about doing something spontaneous like that and was wondering how it worked out for others. Did it really feel special, or was it too much of a hassle with schedules and planning?

I did ..

Booked 5 star hotel ( or 4.5 ...) , spa treatment near by ( hotel is too expensive he he ) , restaurants around it in NYC.

Weather spoiled most of the experience though 😁

I once surprised my wife with a jar full of notes, each one with a tiny memory or silly inside joke between us. To make it even funnier, I decorated the jar using custom stickers featuring your own face—she cracked up every time she pulled out a note. It sounds weird, but stuff like that really makes it personal and fun.
