I don't mean to disparage you but that's such a stupid statement to make . Almost all of the newly formed states have done substantially done better than  their former states in india . 

Jharkhand is doing better than bihar 

Uttarakhand is doing better than UP 

Chattisgarh has grown more than MP 

Areas with low economic base show higher growth rate than richer areas unless there is some sort of emergency like war or natural calamity

Perhaps you did not understand my reply. I clearly said the newly divided states did better than their counterparts and your table proves it right 

However AP did not do better than Telangana between 20014-2019 inspite of being the poorer cousin.

None of the cousin states doesn't have  world class capital like HYB when they got divided.

only Uttarakhand did better than UP.(up also one of the worst performing states even now )

United andhra always top 10 or if not top5 in  best performing state in india 

Telangana was No.1 in 2017 and no.6 in 2018

where as andhra developed No.14 in 2017 to 2018 no.10 and to N0.7 

the growth was show with constant improvement.. hope it continues and by end of 2023 as per ur thumb of rule it will cross telengana.

 

look at this poverty rate list...see where andhra pradesh is and Telengana ...andhra is doing lot better than most of the states.

 AP is doing far better than  Uttarakhand

Nayanaa AP will always do betterw than bottom states just like how maharastra and tamil nadu have been beter than AP for the last 50 years . 

Overall GDP choodadhu , GDP growth ,per capita income growth , literacy  ,HDI are better metrics

bayyas it's not newly formed state, Telangana is.. but the cash cow went to Telangana..

I don't think it makes sense to compare with other states because of various factors..
