About #Kamma : Kammas are first South Indian Kshatriyas those who came from North India, you can see in puranas Kammas warriors have Goddess Lakshmi story, in vedhas they have kurma avatar of bagvan Vishnu murthy story. After suryachandra vamsas these kshatriya community's were formed as 16 Mahajana padhas one of the strongest of them was Kambhoja these kambhoja was split as Kamma kshatriya, kurmi kshatriya, kumbhi and some more. These Kamma community came to south part of Telugu land these area was known Kamma Rastra, Kamma ratha, Kammanadu those who ruled these are they were known Kamma Kshatriyas in this area many Kamma Durjaya vamsas ruled. Velnati choda,Kakatiya, chalukya, musunuri, pemmasani, sayapaneni, Ravella, Suryadevara, Vasireddy,Madurai, thanjavoor,Kandy and many more hundreds of Kamma kingdoms ruled south India and they have nearly 50 Above Zamindhar samsthabas.

Kammas took jainism and budism in the past after again they took hindhuism they have rushi gothras.

Kammas main strongest base is Kambhoja mahajana padha, Kamma Rastra states, Kamra maharaja, Durjaya Kamma maharaja and Karicala Cholas are ancient kamma Kshatriya kings.

Here one think Kamma Rastra begun before 3rd century its end is 17 century means Kamma Kings ruled nearly 1500 years above here Kamma Rastra means Kamma Rajas or Rajulu, Rastra means Rajas or Rajulu, Kamma Rajas is the meaning, so Kammas are the first south India Telugu Kshatriyas.

Yes this is ridiculous. But this claim we came from north india is seen by many castes. "arya vaisyas" of komati - some of them who put a mehta/gupta to their name. Brahmins claim that, even golla castes are keeping the name of "yadav". this is because india makes south indians feel inferior and south indians try to overcome by claiming north origin or kshatriya origin.

it is tragic. but you are not making it better but having a worshipful attitude to kshatriyas and others.

Kshatriyas don't fall in trap of cummodes

They will cheat u like they did in kakatiya rule

Selig Harrison said in 1956 that

Kamma lore nurtures the image of a once-proud warrior clan reduced by Reddi chicanery to its present peasant status. Reddi duplicity, recounted by Kamma historian K. Bhavaiah Choudary, was first apparent in 1323 AD at the downfall of Andhra's Kakatiya dynasty. Reciting voluminous records to prove that Kammas dominated the Kakatiya court, Chaudary suggests that the Reddis, also influential militarists at the time, struck a deal at Kamma expense with the Moslem conquerors of the Kakatiya regime. The Kammas lost their noble rank and were forced into farming

Cummodes moslems tho kummak ai mimalni odincharu, adhi swayamga pulka gade raskunadu

Why is sye raa a fake story. The references to india were fake because there is no india then.  but story seemed pretty authentic to me. I aslo liked it frankly. The idea of various fighting telugu leaders coming together like brothers to fight.

Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (24 November 1806 – 22 February 1847) was an Indian freedom fighter. Son of a former Telugu Palegaadu Mallareddy and Seethamma, Narasimha Reddy was born in Rupanagudi village, Uyyalawada mandal of Kurnool district. He and his commander-in-chief Vadde Obanna were at the heart of the rebellion against the British in 1847, where 5,000 peasants rose up against the British East India Company in Kurnool district. They were protesting against the changes introduced by the British to the traditional agrarian system in the first half of the nineteenth century. These changes include the introduction of the ryotwari system and other attempts to maximize revenue through exploiting lower-status cultivators by depleting their crops and leaving them impoverished. He killed over 3,000 British East India Company Soldiers during the course of the revolt.[1]

Idendayya idhi mana kamma puranam lo rayaleda

Polegaars are real. I am sure they exzaggerated a little in the movie - all movies do that. But i really like sye raa because it bought in to focus some telugu history we barely know these days. our polegars and the battles they fought.

There are lot of battles fought against britishers by local telugu chiefs. Even the british wrote admiringly about them. it was all the way to krishna river.
