Safe Seat For Lokesh: Has Tdp Begun The Search?

Has Chandrababu begun searching for a safe seat for Nara Lokesh for 2024? This is the topic of intense debate in the TDP inner circles these days. Sources say that identifying the constituency and nurturing it carefully are key to Lokesh Babu's correct political positioning. 

Inner circles of the TDP feel that two tactical mistakes were mainly responsible for affecting Lokesh’s political career negatively. The first is to make him a minister through the council route. No political heir has ever entered the government in any state through the council route. A young leader has to prove himself and win the assembly seat. Unfortunately, that did not happen in Lokesh Babu’s case. As a result, his council route has cast a long shadow on his career.

The second career mistake was choosing Mangalagiri at the last moment. Lokesh got very little time to campaign and the negative result from Mangalagiri has left a deep scar on his career. To ensure that such mistake does not happen this time, Chandrababu is now said to be scouting for a safe place for Lokesh to contest from.

A team of psephologists and poll-planners are working to identify a safe seat. Sources said that seats like Kuppam, Hindupur are being considered. Sources also say that there could be other constituencies under consideration. However, the party may not announce the constituency immediately to ensure that there is no dissidence.
