Yeah see DEV helps since there are so many more roles you can fit into. Plus most of the FAANGs and other top tech companies prefer DEVs. 

That's the mistake I have done in my career, not beginning as DEV. Ippudu cheddamanna I don't know if it's worth this late. So trying to move towards tech manager roles and preparing accordingly
