Delhi metro is decent , even poor people use it 

Chennai metro is so fking bad . They had zero planning for the first phase , no wonder it is a huge flop and loss making . Hopefully phase 2 will be better

mumbai metro will take another 5 years to get going 

Hyderabad metro seems to be well plannned and  liked by public 

but overall all metro system constructions are heavily subsidized by governments like all other public transport but the day to day operations are expected to run a profit which is not really viable in most cities as Majority cannot afford the tickets

Delhi metro hiked prices a few years back. It's literally the most expensive metro right now.

Hyd metro is expensive too.. more expensive than chennai. that it has much higher ridership makes me think how bad the bus system in Hyderabad is.
