That is true.. community you live in and the schools are very important for the kids when they grow up.. most of the desi kids are more study focused… not that none of the desi kids do drugs… 

I think Dallas is better compared to Houston… Is your wife African/American or Latin? Latinos have strong family bonding too.. go for a place where you both have relatives or close friends..
