does anyone chant mantras during their pooja or meditation

currently working on a youtube video, so wanted to see what kind of content viewers might like.

please share any thoughts / ideas - so I can try to incorporate them or address them in my video :)

My mom does.. but I don't know anything just om namah shivaya..

Yes. If we have practice from the beginning.

But now, the words are difficult for most of the people. may not be doing that.

But it is best practice to chant the mantras like ashtottaram sri suktam purusha suktam mantrapushpam so many are there, so that our lungs and heart working will be normal and good healthy. It is the way of controlling the breathing and BP and also to get peace of mind, it is an exercise.

Nenu cheyanu but epudo chese vani it makes you to focus on single thing at a time,stop worrying about future etc

start with small slokas for kids, that's how kids are learning here 

once there is some interest, can move to deeper ones

om nama shivaya is also a mantra, called panchakshari :) - very powerful

per my experience, the best result i felt is when i used to chant them inside, and not outside.. don't even move the lips. just chant them inside mind. It feels like relaxation and meditation.

Mantras: driving , walking ,while  doing household work like cooking or cleaning 

listen to vishnu sahasra nama. No restrictions. Girls during their menstrual period also can chant/listen. Ala verevatiki undadhu

lalitha sahasra namsm: very powerful but you need to get upadesham from guru

same thing applies for sri , purusha suktham etc 

daily prayer: 

shodachopachara puja … kudharakapothe panchopachara puja
