All counties want to regulate communications in and out of country... Nothing wrong. They may want access to data for Indian subscribers

Nuvvu cheppe communications regulation veru ee starlink veru. Starlink is just like jio as Internet provider. Nothing to do with starlink subscription. JIO ki competition ani Starlink ki permission ivvatledu Modi.

"Public is advised not to subscribe to Starlink services being advertised,” a tweet from India’s Department of Telecommunications (DoT) reads. The DoT also says it asked Starlink to refrain from “booking / rendering the satellite internet services in India.” In other words, Starlink will have to put preorders on hold until it can get approval from the Indian government.

Approval vachedaka pre orders ni hold pettamani chepparu. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Starlink is not just like jio. Jio is fibernet and Starlink is satellite based service. Starlink as of now targeting only areas where regular internet is not available. So there is no direct competition between broadband service providers and Srarlink yet. It is pretty expensive 500$ initial setup + 99$ per month for 150Mbps speed.

Thier 150 mps likely to be far more reliable. There will be further small ISPs which will split that 150 mps  in to 100 1.5 mps reducing costs drastically.

jio is providing internet at broad band speeds. Same way Starlink provides internet minimum 150 MBPS speed in rural areas (less dense areas). both are providing internet. JIO ki permission ichi Starlink ki ivvakapovadam enti. Deshanni emaina DOT ki or MOSHAS ki raasi ichara enti. valla ishtam vochinattu nammadaniki evadu ikkada ready ga leru. %$#$

exactly. purpose is to maintain consistent reliable internet in rural or remote areas. in Cities, it is not needed.
