Based on my recent experience in a different locality there was cut throat demand for new homes by a well known builder and I had to wait in line like we do for Thanksgiving sale in order to be able to procur newly opened lots which ultimately ended up in a bidding war where I was able to luckily get a home I like for about 15% over the initial price ... again this only my experience which might not be representation of the general housing market

This is currently seller's market and depending on the locality and the demand in the locality lot of weird things are happening ... Full cash payments, crazy bidding wars, etc

Bay area nundi 1 hour during peak time. Homes over there are way over rated. Just within last 1 year.. 40% increase in house prices is not sustainable. 

Wait until market correction happens.. these are the first places to get a reality check and affected..

Mountain Houss = Telugu Village = Spacious Homes!!
