Brainless fellows Andhra govt , completely devoid of any vision You do know Chennai airport is govt run and one of the worst major airports of india There was a huge oppurtunity for andhra to capture air traffic from Chennai , sricity industries and Nellore by building an airport closer to Chennai around sullurupeta If Chennai were to build a new airport it would 60-70 km to either south or west , so it would be far too distant to northern parts of Chennai The proposed location in dagadarthi is just trash . It can only cater to Nellore and krishnapatnam cluster

AAI has no right to object , because they do not have any exclusive zone agreement for Tambaram ISRO issue is non-existent because it has a huge lake as a buffer , flight paths can be made to flow existing guidelines. A lot of flights flow around sullurupeta's skyline , so it's not a issue at all If the state govt is determined to do it , they can do it
