Govt job with 12 lakhs per annum a good salary?

lanchaaala meedha depend ayyuntundi,

in case only peaceful living is your target, I think even if there is no chance for corruption 12 lakhs is a good salary given that your kids will get education in kendriya vidyalaya or public schools of top tier,

@tables No scope of aamyaam it’s a central govt job mostly based on research

Which organization ? From personal experience you will have comfortable life but not much growth in-terms of salary, career ladder without reservation ekkadam kastam. On one fine day you will start getting bored/frustrated and from next day you start comparing with your peers in foreign country. Then you start thinking what I am doing here. Major salary hike ante every 10yrs ke oka CPC vestharu in between nominal 2-3% hike untadhi anthe. Apudu DA penchuthara ani chusthu kurchovali.

If it’s DRDO adhi peruke research organization but akkada research jargadhu just pooling stuff from different countries, my friend used to work there after Masters in India later he resigned and came USA for PhD.

Any job through UPSC like IES aeithe just go for it, all others BS.

Needhi laid off mentality, life set ra anukune type aeithe go for it.

Govt job has peace of mind and steady income all your life… you don’t have to worry about retirement or health or money for basic needs… but you may less well compared to your friends in IT… but you will also have time to do something on the side as well like a business etc if you have interest and time..

IT job lo max upto 50 years… tarvatha chala kashtam.. by that time, you have to earn as much as you can and live the rest of your life based on those earnings… if you earn well, it will be ok.. but if in some case you cannot earn enough money, then it is difficult to sustain post 50 with the life style changes you have got used to..
