Engineering management masters

I see lot of mechanical students from India taking engineering management masters course and going for product manager roles..the average salary for this role is150000+..

 

Can some one throw light ..?

So people with mechanical under grad , no project management exp applying for these courses directly

People are taking them because non IT or CS branches vallu can't shift to cs branch in masters easily so they take engineering management, data science , MIS kinda degrees project management ki you need experience and PMP certifications

Mis and data science on other hand different branch..but talking about pure engineering management and Industrial engineering and going for managerial roles..!!

Cant just jump directly to managerial roles.. with EM degree.start with BA reporting and slowly gain momentum to managerial roles
