Middletown , DE - Is it good area ?

Hi All,

I will be working in New jersey but need to go to office only once in a while so we want to buy a house in Middletown, Delaware as it has good school district.

Any Indian families in Middletown? .. especially with middle school and high school kids.

Please help if you are in or around

Who said it’s a good area? Try outskirts of PA instead. It has some wonderful school districts and homes are reasonably affordable. DE vaddhuuu bro. It’s not a good state. Crime and craziness chala ekkuvaaa. Philly and Jersey ki 1.5 hr distance lo theesukunteee it will be good for you in long run. ATB.

Too costly unnayi bhayya.. kids and wife want a good house after living in rentals for 7-8 years..Budget unbearable ga unnai PA or NJ manchi school district unte..

You cant even expect how much you pay house tax per year in DE its around 1000-1500 in between per year

Same situation one year back .

stayed in south Jersey , working in philly. Booked house in 2020 sept in PA and taken back advance with in few days . That was unacceptable mistake from my side. And same house price is increased to 100k . After 9 months of time When I brought house in Middletown, DE .

Jersey is worst place to buy a home. Property taxes crazy untayi. Highest in the country.
 

But PA is not that bad. I suggest you check around collegeville area. Still 250 to 350k range lo unnayi ani talk. 3 BR homes.
 

But I hear your point though about DE. ATB bro

Pa lo kuda full ga periginaye. Okapudu  takkuva. Check medford new constructions unaye.
