Kid  started going to day care some time mid last year. falls sick once  every month from going to the daycare. It’s like clockwork.  Doctor says  some kids fall sick more often than others. And slowly will outgrow

Took the kid out of daycare since last December and started this month. Bam again sick.

Any tips or thoughts how to better the situation?

It's nirantharaprakriya. Wait for 6 months or a year. Slowly they will develop immune system. That's how world works.

pretty common, taking out , giving a break and putting them back will not help reduce it, you did not mention your kid's age, but 4+ varaku routine rotta, they usually get better the year before public school/kindergarten, and fall sick less often 1st grade+.

3-5 yrs varaku most kids get sick frequently… they build immunity the first 3-5 years..

try a home based day care with less kids.. also, try elderberry syrup and chavanprash every day.. it builds immunity… take the kid outdoors regularly…

Older one that goes to day care is 4 years old. Going to be 5 soon. Child had breaks in day care , especially when we saw covid cases increase. Plan to keep her in daycare now till school starts.

Last night fever spiked up for the older one to 102.x with cough and cold. So today is doctor's appointment. We had a bad experience with fever management for the older kid so now are very particular about it.

One somewhat silverlining of all this is the younger one gets it as well and is developing immunity while at home.

👌

Also, don't use lot of over the counter medication.. try natural immunity boosters.
