Travelling to India - Options for internet access in places with no WiFi/during travel etc.

India lo maa grand parents intlo WiFi ledu guys.  Nenu akkada konni rojulu undali.  Akkada nunchi laptop internet ki connect cheyyali ante what's the best option?  They have Smart Phones, so can I just put some data into them and use them as HotSpot?  Or do I have to buy some dongle (mallee dantlo SIM adhi kothaga konalaa..manaki Aadhar card illa..istharo ivvaro)?  Or Any other options? The solution will also help me during travel within India too where there'd be no/weak WiFi.  Help please guys.  Thanks!

Get dongle it’s like a usb device. Already sim untadi dantlo I used it 5 years back, now too many other options just research Internet is everywhere in india now

Buy jio dongle it costs around 2k.you can put your existing mobile sim and choose good data plan.

Nowadays water lekapoyina internet is being available in most rural areas, you should be good

For dongle nothing required.for sim aadhar enough.if u aadhar linked to mobile / mail kyc will be done via OTP.sim will activate in 4 hours

Worked for 6 mnths in india last yr . Jio sim tesko and most of

smart phones lo mobile hot spot on cheyochu . Connect to that from laptop and chill . Daily 3 gb plan untadi tesko . To get sim u need aadhaar card . Nek leka pothae evardanna petti tesko .

I am preferring this baa to avoid going through the paper work involved in buying a SIM.  Maa grand father ki unna smart phone (eee madhyane theesukunnaru...hopefully they are hot spot enabled) lo nuvvu cheppina 3GB/day plan (28 days validity edho undhi adhi theesukunte chaalu) add chesthe saripothundhi kadha?  When needed hotspot turn on chesi, laptop connect chesi work chesi, when done turn off chesthe chaalu anukuntunna.

Don’t trust mobile hotspot at all for work, but hotspot device

Are you saying dongle hotspot is better than mobile hotspot in terms of reliability/performance?
