‘invest’ itself is the problem ra Babu ante invest invest ante inkemi septham..!

How problem?

2.25 lakhs would save 4000-5000 Rs in electricity bills.

You will get your money back in 4 years.

World is going towards EVs. Evs are the future. So the next bike or car you will buy in an year or 2 will be electric.

Solar plus EV is a deadly combo. You will get your money back in 3 years.

There isn't a better investment right now.

If we all invest in solar, grid won't have shortage and there won't be powercut.

First get it installed. Don't give silly reasons.

Solar is mainly to save on electric bills. It's also good for India. Patriotism doesn't mean standing up for Jana gana mana....it means to do something for your fellow human beings. Solar is win win.

You can get cheap invertor....in future you can use your EV car to power your house in case there is a power cut.

Ford Electric truck can power a house for 3 days.

Think from technical feasibility point of view… only benefit of solar is reduced emissions other than that nothing. You can’t operate a grid with high solar penetration. There will be no savings on bills, breakeven is 10yrs. After 10yrs your installation also needs repairs and servicing.

Anna pedhanna V2G anedhi research topic not yet commercialised… nv cheppina antha easy kadu things technically … katte kotte teche type lo chepthunav.

V2G is not so efficient ani research proven, you charge your EV vehicle to drive not to  power up  your home… each charge and discharge cycle will reduce life of ev battery … why $50000 ev vehicle to supply power to home when you get a battery bank for $1000 ?

Hmm…how many people do you think are willing to invest 5 years of their electricity expenses upfront for a solar set up ?

Investment is a problem. Ade kda septundi. Are you still talking about India and households in India ? Then yeah, investment is a problem.

For your rooftop....you don't need batteries. You feed back into the grid and use it as a battery. You only pay for excess electricity used.

If many install solar and all of them connect to grid it’s not feasible to operate grid with current infra and technology. Anduke california set a target of 2050 to achieve this.

Solar generation control anedhi operator chethilo undadhu like nuclear, thermal, hydro, no accurate prediction available till date and real-time cloud movement prediction is extremely difficult  … operator cannot run grid without his control to increase or decrease generation … always demand should match generation else power frequency will go out of bounds.

switch vesama fan thirgindha kadu… see how power grid operates and what parameters they check each and every second.

Well...they have to change their thinking. If the ever increasing electricity and fuel bills doesn't persuade them they what will?

People respond to only tragedies...and blame government.

That's why I hope petrol price reaches 250. Only then these idiots will wake up.

Many will install.....it's inevitable.

Ila think cheskuntu kurchunte life lo emi cheyalem.

You get back your money in 3-4 years.

There won't be powercuts and more industries will start. More jobs and better standard of living for everyone. There also won't be deaths in hospitals due to powercuts.

You don't need to buy 1000$ battery bank. Powercuts will be minimal...can use car in those circumstances. It's not like you use it multiple times a week.

What is this?

Why are you wasting mental energy. Our collective mental energy is our national treasure. Better to realize quick and do something.

I have already started talks to install another larger capacity solar installation.

One way? It’s true. Unless we come out of our comfort zone, no innovation can reach the masses. Solar is one such thing.

Anyway, the amount to set up is still a significant amount to majority of Indian households.

endho nee badha. why solar? lets have a fcuking fuel cell and a hydrogen tank in every home.

there's a reason why people chose to live with a grid power supply. If solar works for you, enjoy it. stop talking bs about what others have to do.

Brah - people are not expected to generate their own electricity, treat their own sewage, produce their own cooking gas at their own houses. These are best delivered through utilities and through a grid.

You are doing with your own enthusiasm is all good but stop cursing people as unpatriotic for not doing it.

Issue is feasibility, only solar saripodu base load maintenance ki all the time. It can help little bit anthe that too in particular set ups. Inka industries solar meeda dependence ante forget about it. Current solar tech is nowhere near. Europe ila chese is suffering and is now dependent on Russia. Solar should be a part, complete solar is not practical idea.
