Naval Group, a major French submarine maker, has pulled out of India’s Project 75 (I) ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France.

You have to look at the RFi of navy for the subs … no company can provide such technology .. only company in competition is koreans … another alternative plan is brewing to order more kalvari class submarines and make one of the kilo class submarine as a test bed to test DRDO developed AIP( air independent propulsion system) to gather data and go for indigenous submarines under project76… This make more sense to keep the existingmagazon dock submarine manufacturing alive …
