Endhuka ba - i know in one particular tech billing rate was 225 per hour in 2010 - now almost everything maxes out at 90 or 100. Almost every other career - including high paying medicine or lawyer increased rates.

Our consulting  company’s billing rates have doubled since 2012 .

May be independent contractors rate has not grown .

company I work for is an implementation partner . They do lot of techs .

ex: data engineer rate is $195

salesforce developer is around $180

architect is around $220

this is what client pays to our company directly,  no middle men . But we get a fixed salary irrespective of the project or rate .

these are 2021 rates . In last quarter meeting they said due to inflation they are going to increase rates . Loveda gallu salary hikes inflation ki meet avvaledu kaani billing rates meet avvali anta .

you dont have to tell your company name but can you tell me some of clients.

So in 2012 they were billing salesforce developer for 90 and now 180 ?

can't confirm for salesforce bill rate.. but can say confidently for Data an Analytics, Application engineer or architect. Bill rates has mostly doubled in 10 years.

Clients ante list hundreds lo untundhi... emp count is >10K. Infosys ki yekkuva Accenture Consulting ( Not services) ki takkuva . you get the Idea

clients ante FB , APPLE , BOFA, capital One, SChwab, YUM (Pizzahut), these are some . But chinna chithaka chala unnayi.

The company I work for share SOW without any restrictions So I can see who get what rate .

another interesting fact: Accenture bill rates are $270+ for a Mid level ETL engineer in 2017. We replaced them so we know their rates.

I know a lot of companies which hate how expensive accenture is and work output is same as any other. But accenture still gets business. I think its the old boys network for them.

So bofa also pays such rates - interesting. The end private contractor gets only 60-70 for his employer and he eventually gets only 48 to 54

Demand and supply. Also in 2000’s, there is used to be only 1-2 technologies to do the particular job and hence high demand. Now atleast 5-6 diff technologies and so demand decreased.

2010 billing rates wont be possible in future
