If they go to $10, they have to trade less than their cash on hand, which is impossible IMO. With about 900M shares, for it to trade at $10, the market cap will be half of the cash on hand. It will stay at or above $18 (cash position) and then trade side ways for some time. $18B in cash aa 🙄

Tesla stepped into a new and niche segment and succeeded in making profits by scaling up production… Rivian is yet to scale up their production and is struggling to do it.. Amazon and Ford wrote off their stake in Rivian indicating that they do not have hopes on this.. Ford sold their shares, Amazon is still backing…is there a news that Amazon is selling its stake ? By next year they will have yo raise funds again. Meanwhile ford made $12 billion in profits last year. same issue with LCID they are burning cash and tesla was in a similar position in 2018 when they released m3 as they were investing - for them to get out of the muck they had to produce more cars, they finally stopped the bleeding in 2020-21(profits through car sales) https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2022/03/10/rivian-racks-up-47-billion-loss-sees-supply-snags-curbing-ev-output/?sh=12c1f7831301

Despite the weaker-than-hoped outlook for 2022, Rivian remains well-positioned over the long term owing to its unusually large cash horde. The company said it ended 2021 with $18.4 billion in cash and equivalents, and that it has an additional fundraising capacity with an asset-based revolving credit line. It raised about $11 billion as a private company, from backers including Amazon and Ford, and a further $13.7 billion from its 2021 IPO. I am not denying $18 billions but they are burning at an unprecedented rate without much cash flow. The pledged $10 billion of that cash towards new facility/factory. Like last year they will lose $5-$6 billion in operating costs this year, plus $10 billion for the factory. That means they will need money for next year gm and F are investing $40 billion each for ev ramp up, Tesla already did $30-$40 billion towards giga factories. Tesla did it through equity, loans and lucked out due to its insane stock price when it diluted in 2020/21. Gm and F lucked out due to pandemic because of cheap loans and positive cash flow(both made $13 billion in profits last year and will make another $13-$15 billion this year). When it comes to start ups they don’t have any cash flow and if any they are losing money due to higher operating costs. If the market situation doesn’t improve they will get bought over as dilution of the stock at these levels means more downtrend. I feel mostly lucid will be taken over Apple(it sits nice with their brand) and Rivian by one of the automakers

I think, even if they spend as per the plan, they will have about $13B, which translates to about $14 as the floor for the stock. It all depends on how the narrative changes during the next 1 year. If they show progress, it can go up, if not, it will go down further. I personally think they have no Moat what so ever but do have order backlog from Amazon

Growth stocks grow 100% or more yoy and hence the stock price is forward looking and in anticipation growth trajectory. All the stock you mentioned are still the thing in future, rblx could be as big as nflx, UPST didn’t miss an earnings so far and far exceeded estimates(it fell because of macro conditions of rising interest rates as lending becomes harder but when situation goes back to normal the stock is going to bounce back)
