you are confusing china with north korea. before pandemic almost 137 million tourists visits abroad from chinese were recorded. China has hundreds of thousands of foreigners living there.

Every major foreign media has journalists there freely living and doing what they want.

For example - everything i mentioned in first post is true. This can be verified even in media here but not a single media here will present of all that information together and make it a story.
