Prathi okkadu kurta pyjama lo kondaraite forehead meeda naamaalu bottu pettukuni home nundi drive cheskuntu vaccharu!! Why is all that necessary?? No one is expecting them to see in their orthodox attire. Kondaru ladies pani kattukuni oka white female ki saree kattaru and she was so uncomfortable in it. Ladies ki ayithe edi vesina bagane untaru. But guys?  Okadaithe dhoti kattukuni ochhadu! They had the audacity to purchase those attire and bring them to US and even wear them to work! They are like brainwashed beyond repair! Inka after party PAAN anta - yuck! One guy asked why do we need to chew paan? Antha craze ento?

Veella daridram entante, they make even their ABCD kids wear kurta pyzamas all the way into their teen age and beyond to brainwash them and take them around the city to show off! One of the white guys at work even commented that those long long kurtas look GAY!! There you go - that's what those attire look like to others in US. Don't get offended - just think how they look down on us. Look at those housewarming videos, wedding videos - they all wear kurta pyzamas, dhotis blah. Why cant they just wear a suit, shorts, jeans and t-shirt? Simple, comfortable to blend with nativity with the community. That way they will at least be accepted as one of them. Otherwise they will be treated as orthodox weirdos forever who are just 2 centuries behind in civilization with the rest of the mankind. Thick Indian accent, bad English, spicy food and poor personal hygiene only make things worse. Learn some grammar, pronunciation, presentation skills. They are all free on YT. Just because you are in US, your education/learning is not over yet.

You are referring to one isolated incident of someone liking your spicy food in an airport and generalizing  the whole country?? You don’t know if if she was mocking at your spicy food. Americans say things just to be friendly or funny all the time, no need to assume them in your favor. That is dumb! It’s a known fact spicy food is looked down, you may see some Americans once in a while in some Indian restaurants that prepare mild food for them but they are a minority like maybe 5% or less. there more number of Americans who hate spicy food than the ones you see in restaurants. If spices are great, McDonald’s the largest food chain in the world would have used them and even sold biryanis (their corporate knows about every food item, meat, vegetable and spice in the world).

Of all the dozens of vegetarian dishes Indians brought to the Diwali party, only a couple of Americans (out of 200+ people) touched the food. Only Indians ate it and then packed it for their homes. If they simply ordered pizza, everyone would have eaten it. When you are in Rome, be a Roman!

in India white dress is considered romantic. But in US, only gays wear white dress. Have you seen any males wearing white dress in US? Org allowing any dress doesn’t mean you wear kurtha, dhothi with naamaalu and bottu to work and degrade other Indians, are you being serious?? That’s again like saying US allows freedom and it’s ok to do nuisance slavish car rallies (even if it invites the anger of others). Can you imagine if some psycho opens fire at a car rally how many people would be dead - to be documented in the history in BLOOD forever about the illiteracy and stupidity of Indians?
