kevinUsa Posted July 23, 2024 Report Posted July 23, 2024 A man who New Jersey authorities would not rule out in an investigation of the fatal 2017 stabbings of his wife and 6-year-old son is now set to inherit nearly $1 million from the victim’s life insurance and estate, according to public records and an attorney involved in the settlement. There still have been no arrests in the killings of Sasikala Narra, 38, and her son Anish. But now, Hanumantha Rao Narra, the husband and father, will walk away with 70% of the $1.4 million estate. The remainder will go to Sasikala’s mother, who lives in India. Sasikala Narra (left) and son Anish Narra were killed March 23, 2017 in Maple Shade, and the case has not been solved.FBI Quote

Chittoorodu Posted July 23, 2024 Report Posted July 23, 2024 I strongly think this case might go unsolved until there is a confession. There is no reason for a stranger to have committed this crime, this brutal level of wounds are only seen if it is personal. The PD did a very poor job in the first 48hours, not many leads or forensics. 1 Quote

The court did also warn him as he hid a few assets until he was forced to reveal. Also the victims parents from India were threatened and asked to withdraw their end of the bargain so he cud solely get the insurance amount and the assets. Quote

He started involving the lawyer right after the first interview and some guy from NATA or TANA from the very beginning. It is sad that the mom and the kid may not see justice until he or she opens up. There was a podcast that was done sometime last year, very detailed about this case. They also followed up with the husband and Deepa both declined to comment. Quote

DNA evidence from crime scene, that matched with the ex-colleague's. They obtained DNA from the office laptop in India as the suspect moved to chennai after those murders. 1 Quote
