Do we need indian railways ? sell it to states

indian railways has always been hindi railways. A medium to spread hindi through signboards, transport job seeking hindi poppulations to south and other parts.

in addition they never or rarely invest in south. Densest rail lines are in north, most best bogies go to north despite most profits in south.

Why should we bear this incompetent money sucker monster ?

Indian railways need expansion..lot of new tracks ... Still leading public transport in India is railways.. Indian railways make money through freight trains not public transport.. but demand of trains has increased as population increased... So India railways can keep freight trains and privatize public transport trains
