Hyd food is overhyped ba...VJW side is best

As someone who grew up in Hyd and constantly hyping hyd food from biryani to dilkush - i finally changed opinion.

Gold standard of taste is VJW region.

I had the best irani chai in Dallas not hyd, best dosa/podi idly in dallas and not chennai.

Even as a kid too whenever i had food from random place in VJW or some wedding - i noticed food was always tasty. But vjw did not have a brand comparable to hyd so no one hyped it.

Aslo hyd biryani is overrated. too much tangy taste.

I used to remember lucknow guys joking hyd biryani is nothing but take lucknow biryani and keep it in almirah for three days. result is hyd biryani. i see the point now. 

Too much tangy, too much kaaram ..all mixed up in a not so harmonius way.

Anyway you are more likely to get best version of hyd biryani by some vjw run place.

sarigama.. aa pakkane inko moodu unnai. anni good ba. sarigama lo neyyi is generous so its good.

Irani chai everywhere is good but some slight consistency issues - some days its superb.

Kooralu anni superb - a little oily but thats fine. its not too much.

What you eating bro..? You sure you eating right food..? Hyd biryani is never tangy or spicy.. Seriously Lunkow biryani did you taste it it’s just a pallete taste.. Hyderabad is wide so you find all the tastes

East Godavari food is the best. I ate very tasty vegetarian food. Jack fruit biryani was highlight.

I think all of Andhra, Telangana, Seema, Govavari & Vijayawada food is overrated vayya. 
Punjabi food is way better than ours
