           Yes I would say also the same thing.Bhagvat Geeta lo antiki anwers untayi  because Bhagwad geeta was told to arjun around 5000 years ago.Dharma changes as yuga changes , so things change , kali yugam dharma is different from other yuga dharma so people refer bhagavat geeta which was written in dwapara yuga which is very near to kali yuga dharmam.

                          Rama is a God but he came as a complete human being.As for Valmiki Ramayana - When Ravana Started ruling , all the nava grahas were under his feet.Even the planetery motion will change as for Ravana advice.Even Oceans and Wind breeze as for ravana advice.Kubera is the brother of Ravana.He was kicked out of Kingdom and Pushpaka vimanam was stolen from kubera and kept in Sri Lanka.Ravana Got So Temper he started attaching Gods and No yagnas were performed for God for which drought started .Ravana was always against Gods.All Gods ran to brahma to ask for help.All Gods had a meeting.As for the God Dharma , Brahma work is to produce , Vishnu work is to take care of production and shiva work is to take away the production which means destruction.They have their own policies and rules.In the meeting discussed and as for Vishnu Dharma , he has to take a form and get onto earth and place dharma in right position again.Vishnu will only enter the scene when rushis , women , cows , Gods are in trouble.So in this case Gods , rushis and women are troubled .So Vishnu has the right time now to get on and work , stabilize and replace adharma by dharma.As for Ravana Boon which was given by lord shiva , he was given the boon that he should not be killed by any god ( Ayonija - God is the only person who did not come from mother womb ) , rushis , demons and he even stated that what a normal human being can do when i have a big boon like this.There was no value for humanity at that time.

          For which Rama stayed in mother womb for 9 months and had suffered pain while coming out.He is very Special because he killed ravana , gave freedom to nava grahas , oceans , air to work on their own dharma , rushis to do yagnas and Gods are happy since Gods were troubled always by Ravana.Many beautiful women were slaves to ravana.Since he cannot have sex with them ,, they were kept as slaves.Rama is the only king till date who did this big task and no other king did.For which till date Rama is remembered and prior to all kings.

           More importantly , Rama did only by Following Dharma.No Adharma will be seen anywhere throughtout his life time.For which He is God.

2) Many people defended rama's is meat eating habit citing his kshatriya caste, but however in vedas it was clearly mentioned that a person's caste can not be defined by his birth but by his deeds so why we need to take rama's kshatriya caste as a standard legitimate meausre of one's identity in the society?

 

3) If at all Rama's kshatriya dharma was defended and accepted then should it not be applied to the very caste system that we are following this very day??

   Super question....let me tell u a story - when ram seeta amma and laxman were in exile.Ram was taking rest in seeta amma lap in an nice beautiful afternoon.Suddenly a crow appeared and started shouting.This crow was sent by Ravana disciple.crow was a demon.Seeta amma tried many ways to make the crow to go away since it might disturb ram.But crow did not go instead started poking seeta amma on her face and later on her chest.She took her vaddanam from the waist and throwed on crow but it continued poking seeta and she started to bleed.Lord Ram woke up and saw the situation and became so mad angry and took his rama banam and targeted crow.The crow could not escape the rama banam.It wondered all lokas but could not find its way.and lastly felt at the feet of rama and asked for life safety.since the banam was already targeted it cannot be escaped.Even Rama cannot stop the Banam.Something has to be offered in order to stop the banam ( since the banam was targeted with mantras ).So crow gave its eye sight.Even till date Crow eye sight and viewing is different from others for this reason.

                 As you know by nature , rama is a follower of dharma.He is silent and never talks much , never gets anger and each word he talks is meaningful and senseful.For which he is still being respected.Being that characterstic, He got mad angry when seeta amma is hurt. ( keep in mind ).

 

               Seeta amma is goddess and she is ayonija ( not born from mother womb ).She knows everything whats happening and what is going to happen.

 

            Rama was born as human being to kill Ravana and replace adharma by dharma.He was born in Ayodhya which is in north india where as sri lakna where ravana resides is in the south.So there must be a connection between rama and ravana inorder to kill ravana and win over adharma.So a link must be created between these two men.Note: Always strictly always rama has to be treated as normal skilled human being with no external powers.Its a  note given by valmiki also in valmiki ramayana.

         

            In order to create this link , kaikeyi servant manthara created evil thoughts in kaikeyi mind which lead to rama exile.I don't remember the past story why did manthara gets evil thoughts.Its all gods play to link the rama and ravana.

 

                    Ravana is a very powerful man.Its difficult task to win over him.He is a great scholar , shiva devottee and highly vedic intellectual.He knows every thing about vedas.Perfect in all means but his ego and thinking lead to his death.Rama cannot alone fight just with his bow and mantra arrows easily to defeat him.Ravana has so much tapasu boon ( For which he is enjoying his rich life , nava grahas under his feet and many more as described earlier ).For Which Seeta amma married Rama and help him.Its a svayamvaram wedding and she knows only a true intellect , dharmic person could take her hand which is none other than Rama.

 

Now Coming to the Point - Seeta amma knows its a demon and not a golden deer.She knows it was sent by ravana.Seeta amma cannot be eloped that easily by ravana in the presence of rama and laxman.Seeta amma has to be eloped and placed in sri lanka .The reason is Ravana Tapasu boon power can only be get ridden when an women cries in the home ( sri lanka ).She cried i sri lanka and bad omens started like animals crying , donkeys , horses died.Ramayana also tells us how women should stay in home.They should never ever leave their hair without knot and women should never be hurt , if she starts crying people in that home will be in trouble for sure.

                          She tried to escape from ravana and started shouting for which ravan hold seeta more tightly ( means he is commiting a big sin by holding a married women who is gooddess , even ravana knows that seeta is not a normal human being , she is goddess ).Jatayu tried to help but he was killed which is a sin again.Ravana is a pure brahmin and its a sin killing a bird.

                           Ravana is a brahmarakshasa.His father is a rushi and mother a raakshasa.Ravana graandfather is Pulastya.Pulastya is son of brahma.So Ravana great grandfather is lord brahma.Ravana being a great scholar in all fields as his fathers and great grandfathers are rushis and ravana has wicked thoughts since he is son on a rakshasa too.So Ravan always implied his knowledge and grip over the vedas and tried to make the world under his control.If ravana likes any women or goddess , he would just elope her and had sex and make them slaves.All goddess were afraid of his thoughts and nobody has the dare to go against him.During a meeting in Brahma lokam , Ravana saw menaka and in front of everybody he tried to take her with him.Every body in the meeting were  shocked and requested brahma to stop it.Lord Brahma tried to stop but ravana did not listen for which lord brahma gave a shapam stating that if any girl is forced to be your slave and if you tried to have sex without girl permission you will be death right away.This incident happened long ago before he took boon from lord Shiva regarding his death.For which reason Ravana kept sita in sri lanka and gave 10 months to change her mind.Ravana said to seeta that he will marry and make her queen of lanka for which she rejected.

                                  There are 4 yugas - satya,treta,dwapara and kali yugam.In the first two yugas all were allowed to eat meat including brahmins.but later in dwapara and kali yugam the dharmas have changed and non veg is restricted to brahmins.The reason for which is a demon vatapi and sage agastya.Lord Rama Kshtreya legimate is not taken any where with regard to eating meat .I have described in the story that he belong to kshtreya family and he has to follow his own dharmic duties of being kshtreya like protecting people , taking care of kingdom , etc.
