•       Provide on-call (Via ticket queue) support to application developers and DBAs

•       Provide day-to-day support via patching and repair for Windows Servers running Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic Server, and specifically Oracle Forms and Reports

•       Provide occasional support and upgrades to other Oracle Application Server components

•       Occasionally perform off-hours maintenance to production servers.

 

Nice to Have Qualifications:

•       Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware

The OED work will include analyzing, encoding, testing (unit, functional, user), debugging, and documenting a new version of PRISM. The OED intends to use Oracles Application Express (APEX) web application tool to build and deploy the application. The applicant must have three to five years experience with APEX and should have an equivalent amount of experience with structured query language (SQL) and procedural language extensions for SQL (PL/SQL).

 

 

The OED intends to manage the project using the Agile Scrum Methodology. The applicant should have experience in an Agile Scrum environment or demonstrate an academic knowledge of the methodology. In addition, the applicant will be expected to work closely and in partnership with OED Information Technology staff throughout the development process.

The goal is a complete knowledge transfer of the use of the APEX environment and the coding techniques and practices used in the development of this program. This will allow the OED to perform maintenance on the application after deployment.
