Description
•             Business Analysis and Project Management in Client Treasury, focusing on the area of Liquidity Risk Management/Reporting

It is a Business Facing role. This person will be interacting with Very Senior Level Stakeholders like , Chief Actuary, Chief Accounting Officer etc. They need to have experience interacting and conducting themselves at that level.

Job Summary:

                           The VP, Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a large portfolio of cross-functional projects sponsored by our global Actuarial, Claims, Finance, Legal and Operations departments.  Reporting to the SVP, EPMO, Global Operations, this position partners with departmental leaders to plan, prioritize, facilitate delivery and report on the project portfolio.

 

 

Job Duties

                           : Perform portfolio planning by actively engaging stakeholders in project prioritization, balancing objectives with constraints, and facilitating trade-off decision making based on investment, resourcing, risk and value

                           : Oversee the project portfolio, providing project management support as needed through all phases of project planning and delivery

Job Requirements:

                           : At least 7 years' project management experience in a business environment; including successful oversight of large, complex projects or programs;

                           : At least 5 years' experience in the Insurance industry.

                           : PMP or other project management certification or equivalent experience desired.

                           : University degree required.

                           : Strategic business knowledge; a long-term focus; ability to make recommendations regarding complex strategic decisions.

                           : Ability to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse groups of people.

Primary Job Responsibilities

The Windows Systems Administrator will play a technical leadership role in a 24x7 highly-available production environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and articulate, recognized as an expert with Microsoft operating systems, Win NT, 2K and 2K3, related software technologies, and have a proven history of using administrative tools and automating routine administration tasks.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Physical requirements include:

     Moves / Adds / Changes - moves of computers when necessary.  
     Individuals must be able to physically lift, bend, and crawl under desks

Education
 Bachelors in an engineering discipline, or Technical certification in Win NT or Win 2K/2K3, or equivalent work experience. Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
