We are looking for a Sr Siebel Developer. The person needs to have technical Siebel development experience (preferably version 8.1). They also need Tools development and configuration experience, EIM (Enterprise Integration Manager) and EAI (Enterprise Application Intergration) experience.

 

Siebel CRM Developer

The Senior Siebel Developer candidate will be responsible for creating tools/scripts necessary to monitor production system issues and auto reprocess fallouts and generate daily metrics. This role will provide assessment and resolution of all incoming customer/client reported Issues, on-going maintenance, issues identification and performing root cause analysis and coming up with solutions/fixes.

The role operates in an agile environment and requires an excellent understanding of the full software lifecycle, including functional requirement gathering, design and development, testing of software applications and documenting requirements and technical specifications.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

·       Provide technical troubleshooting and coordinate support with vendors. Provide support to new applications during and after implementation.

·       Collaborate with customers and various businesses and Information Technology teams to effectively address and resolve day to day issues.

·       Research reported Siebel customer/client reported issues, data issues and coming up with resolution.

·       Creating Siebel scripts/tools to resolve system issues, fallouts.

·       Determine and document root cause of issues through partnership with the development teams.

·       Lead offshore Siebel developers and guides them on day to day activities and work as onsite SME.

·       Resolve issues that arise in the production in a timely manner; ensure the efficient and proper functioning of Siebel application components

·       Experience with enforcing application change control and migration strategy policies. Identify, influence and recommend design system requirements for software projects and enhancements

·       Strong Experience of Linux/Unix and shell scripting

·       Familiar with Siebel Performance tuning.

·       Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniques

·       Mentors and coaches less experienced staff

·       Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a member of the Siebel team in order to accomplish the business goal.

·       Requires the ability to come up with creative technical solutions while applying Siebel best practices and working within coding standards

Required:

·       5+ years’ experience in implementation of large scale Siebel applications

·       Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware integration and EAI products

·       Strong working experience with Siebel Open UI

·       Hands on design and development experience in Siebel tools, EIM jobs

·       Experience and/or knowledge of the integration of Siebel with other systems

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Preferred:

·       Excellent understanding of SDLC methodologies and working with experienced Siebel developers, integration teams, and test teams

·       Good working knowledge of Siebel Enterprise Integration Management (EIM)

·       Understanding of Business Automation such as Assignment Manager and Workflow

·       Proven experience with SQL scripting

·       Proven experience in triaging customer/client issues, and after hours support

·       Excellent troubleshooting skills

·       Ability to clearly understand and articulate complex problems

·       Good understanding of the overall Siebel application

·       Very strong interpersonal skills able to work at all levels of the organization

·       Working functional knowledge with some combination of Siebel CRM, Finance, Call Center, and ERP OBIA applications is highly preferred.

·       Experienced with relational database SQL

·       Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies

·       Strong Experience in Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM and scripting experience

·       Proficiency in understanding conceptual data and process models

·       Deep technical and functional experience on Siebel 8.x out-of-the-box offerings

·       Familiarity with Siebel eAutomotive, eMarketing, eCommunication verticals is a plus.

·       Experience with Shell scripts and PLSQL.
