I think you can travel. You need to go through extra security check. Go to airport atleast 4 hours before your flight departure

I strongly recommend you travelling via CAR.. forget the Airline Ticket fee.. Take a Rental Car... and Drive... bcz if u got to airport with out valid ID.. you will be screened like Crazy.... anavasaram ga Flag avutaru both of you... TSA 9 out of 10 times will not allow you to on BOARD the flight with out valid Identification no matter what we tell them... So just by going there .. you will go through extra non-sense .. if you still have driving license.. take a care and drive..

picha lite - no  need to worry - go to airport a cpl hours earlier than your planned time - cop icchina receipt + new passport apply chesina receipt pettuko nee daggira (for applying new passport you dont need any documents right away - paisal katti receipt generate cheko - she ll need her photocopy to do this -  intiki poyyaka mee mrs vi docs panpinchu - naa friend ki 15 days lo new pp vocchindi ofcrs depends on what center u r applying n processing times n all). With that information you should be good to go - but be prepared for an inspection at ur check point - mee docs jaagarthaga chooskondi. That should do ATB.

also any secondary form of identification with a photo on it should do (some bank credit card with photo could be used as a secondary ID) - also to advise "u dont carry passports within the country" - she needs to apply to a state ID or DL.
