One need not even be a fan of Chiranjeevi to know that he has in general been acknowledged as the No.1 during his era in Telugu Film Industry. Since the title of this thread talks about box office stamina - one anecdote to animate this fact is that Chiru commanded the highest remuneration in India way back in 1992-93 of about 1.25 Cr per movie much higher than Amitabh Bacchan at the time prompting The Week magazine to have a cover story on Chiru "Bigger Than Bacchan" - obviously this is not to suggest Chiru is greater than Amitabh but I think the point is made about Chiru's box office performances in general.

I think Chiru is the only one hero who is acknowledged even within the industry as No.1.

Rajamouli has claimed that there were ever only two No.1 's when it came to Telugu male actors - Sr. NTR during his reign and Chiranjeevi after that.
