Ask your employer to continue the parallel process, once it approved you can port the same priority date for other application. 180 days rule different, 140 vachaka 180 days revoke cheyakunda vunte, employer can't able to revoke even if he wanted to.

not sure employer can do that since he has to run payroll as per LC amount for those 6 monthss right if employee is gone  i don't think he'll do that.
