I had this Korean manager once...He was a workoholic..

Used to be at work by 7am..and he stays at work till 6pm. Everyday at 6pm, lights turn off automatically and has no option to go home or else, he would stayed back. Once he raised complaints on desi developer batch that they are not coming on time, go for frequent smoke breaks and longer lunch breaks blah blah...and it became a big issue and eventually he was told not to do micro management..

I leave my laptop in office so that i don't have a chance to even open it at home...unless very imp i don't get it home. This way i feel there would be discipline too...intiki techukokapote laptop next day morning calls inti nunchi tesukoni late ga velle chance kuda undadu...will go to office early.
