If Vijay/Dhawan fail miserably then Rahul needs to come in...  for Saha for balance of the side need to make way for parthiv, who has better technique against fast bowlers...

Vijay is bit better in leaving balls than Dhawan...But he is a slow starter in a series oka good untadi mostly.

Balance with this combo is can bat deep and Five bowlers can continue, with out a lone spinner won't have any variety also present batsmen there is no notable part time spinner also.

Earlier Sachin/Sehwag were handy can chip in with few overs if there was only one spinner.

Well said. Only thing what I think is, BCCI doesn't need to lobby to play all the series in India. Most of the revenue(to ICC) comes from India (viewership/ads/channel rights). i read somewhere in a blog, coming next year till 2021, all the test series will be played in India
